Western Regional Minister Assures Open-Door Policy For Development

The Western Regional Minister, Joseph Nelson, has officially assumed office, pledging to lead with transparency, inclusivity, and a strong commitment to development.
He has assured stakeholders of his open-door policy, encouraging open dialogue and collaboration to drive progress in the region.
In his maiden meeting with the management and staff of the Western Regional Coordinating Council (WRCC), Mr. Nelson emphasized the need to prioritize national interest in public service.
He urged department heads and staff to freely share their concerns, challenges, and innovative ideas, stressing that teamwork and dedication are essential for regional growth.
The Minister reaffirmed his readiness to lead the Western Regional Security Council (REGSEC) as Chairman, pledging to work closely with security agencies to maintain peace and stability.
He called on all government officials to serve with passion, integrity, and a commitment to Ghana’s development agenda.
Recognizing the critical role of the media in governance, Mr. Nelson assured journalists of an open and collaborative working relationship, promising regular engagement to ensure transparency and accountability.
He also assured the people of the region of government’s commitment to addressing the poor state of road infrastructure, acknowledging the pressing need for rehabilitation and expansion to facilitate economic activities and improve livelihoods.
The Acting Chairman of the Regional Security Council (REGSEC), Commodore Emmanuel Kwarfo Ayesu, pledged the Council’s full support in ensuring law and order.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration between security agencies and government in maintaining a safe and conducive environment for development.
