MMDCES Nomination NDC Hierarchy Has Denied The Choice Of The Peoples Of Lower Manya Krobo NDC Grassroots

The Grassroots of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern says the leadership of the party has denied the choice of the people who they believe can hold the office of Municipal Chief Executive (MCE)

Addressing the Media in a Press Conference at the Party office in Nauso, *Odonkor David Dei*, *NDC Branch Chairman at Kojonya* noted that, they want the whole world to know that long service and loyalty to the party has been thrown into a dustbin which is a clear indication of nominating inexperience John Matey as MCE over long-serving and experienced member *David Walter Yaw Hormernu

According to the grassroots, this action by the President and the National leadership of the Party will discourage a lot of the NDC members from being loyal and hardworking to the party as they believe working hard and serving the party has been left out.

So therefore, they are calling on the President and the National Executives of the party to immediately intervene and take a second look at the nomination and appoint David Walter Yaw Hormernu as the MCE for Lower Manya Krobo, or else they will advise themselves.

Some of the grassroots across the constituency spoke to the media about why the grassroots prefer the other candidate to President Nominee JohnMatey.
