Residents Appeal For Government Intervention As Community Construct Death Trap Bridge To Save Lives In Yesu-Krom.

Residents , Nananom of Gomoa Yesu-krom a suburb of Gomoa Fetteh in the Gomoa East District together with Nananom, have expressed deep concern over the deplorable state of a death trap bridge in the community, describing it as a serious danger to lives and property.

They are calling on the government to urgently intervene and help them as the community has begun constructing the bridge.

According to the Chairman Of Yesukrom Landlords Association Pastor Eric Appiah, the community has made efforts to start constructing of the bridge through their own contributions and communal labor.

However, they indicated that Although , they have begun the construction but urgently needs the government support.

He has however charged their MP Hon. Desmond Degraft Petu to come to their aid.

Meanwhile, some Traditional leaders, opinion leaders in the area have expressed disappointment in the government for failing to respond to several appeals, despite letters submitted to the appropriate authorities requesting assistance.
