Poor Roads In Ninkyiama Threaten Livelihoods And Lives.
Residents of Ninkyiama in the Asutifi North District of the Ahafo Region are appealing for an improved road network.
According to them, Ninkyiama is predominantly a farming community, but the poor state of roads is affecting their livelihoods.
They explained that much of their farm produce goes to waste because they are unable to transport it to the market on time.
The residents further noted that they face serious challenges in securing tricycles and other means of transport to convey their foodstuffs.
They also expressed concern that the deplorable condition of the road poses a risk to lives, especially during emergencies when residents need to access healthcare services.
They are therefore appealing to the government, through the DCE and the MP to urgently intervene and improve the road network.
