Rural Development Connect Us To The National Grid Chief Appeals Government.

A Newly Installed Chief of Kwaafour krofofromu, a farming community in the Kwahu South Municipality of the Eastern Region Nana Amankwaa Owiredu II is appealing to the central government through the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. David Effah Osei Bonsu, the Electricity Company of Ghana, and other stakeholders to come to their aid in their quest to be connected to the national grid.

Nana Amankwaa Owiredu II made this and other pressing needs in the educational sector when speaking with the media after swearing before Nana Nyarko Baawuah, Kwahu Bepong hene to take the kingship vacancy in the Kwaafour krofofromu traditional area.

On her side, Nana Frimpomaa AMpoma II who also swore in an oath to be a queen mother of the same traditional area promised to partner together with Nana Amankwah Owiredu II to serve and promote development in the area.

Some of the Elders and citizens expressed their enthusiasm for having two traditional leaders to spearhead developmental projects in the area.

They also vow to support them at all cost for the betterment of Kwahu Kwaafour Krofofromu.
