Salaga South MP Commissions School Facilities And CHPS Compound To Boost Education And Healthcare.

The Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Zuweira Mohammed Ibrahimah, has once again demonstrated her commitment to community development by commissioning school facilities in four communities, as well as a CHPS compound at Kakoshie.

Speaking to the media during the commissioning ceremony, the MP expressed heartfelt gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to complete the projects.

She also commended the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for his strong leadership and professionalism throughout the implementation process.

In a major boost to education in the municipality, a newly constructed classroom block was officially opened to provide a modern and conducive learning environment for schoolchildren.

Although the project was completed several months ago, the official commissioning was delayed to allow for the procurement of furniture for the students.

Addressing attendees at the event, a representative explained that the delay was necessary to ensure the facility would be fully functional from the first day of use.

“There was no way we could commission the project without furniture for the students to sit on,” the spokesperson stated.

“The Municipal Assembly has now provided the needed furniture so students can immediately begin learning in a comfortable environment.”

The ceremony attracted community leaders, residents, and education stakeholders, all of whom welcomed the development with excitement and appreciation.

The fully furnished classrooms are expected to improve teaching and learning conditions and contribute significantly to educational advancement in the area.

The commissioning of both the school facilities and the CHPS compound reflects a broader commitment to improving access to quality education and healthcare for residents in the Salaga South Constituency.
