One person is confirmed dead while many others are have sustain various degree of injuries in an accident occured at Kwahu Adensua surbeb near Nkawkaw the Kwahu West Municipality capital of the Eastern Region on the Kumasi to Accra high Street.

The Accident according to an eyewitness Ras Miller, involved Daewoo matiz with registration number EN 510-20 parked alongside the road to offload goods and a Ford Transit Bus with registration number AS 8162-26 heading from Accra to Kumasi on the same stretch.

While the driver of the Daewoo Matiz is pronounced dead, the other passengers have been rushed to hospital for treatment.
