Quality Education Chief Appeals For Teacher’s Quarters.
The chief of Kwahu Koranteng near kwahu praso in the Kwahu South Municipality of the Eastern Region, Nana Yaw Ofori is appealing to the government through the Ministry of Education, the Ghana Education Service and Stakeholders to build for them a Teacher’s Bangalore’s for educators within his traditional area to be able to improve teachers retention and students performance in the rural and underserved enclave.
Nana Ofori made this appeal when the MCE for Kwahu South, Hon. David Effah Osei Bonsu( Ato- Plans) and the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akusua Agyei Awartey commissioned a 3 unit ultra morden unit KG block to serve the children as a startup in the area.
On her part, the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon Rita Akusua Agyeiwaa Awartey said, it is the vision of president John Dramani Mahama to move children studying under trees hence the KG Block. She also assured Nana Ofori his appealed is taken in good faith and will be redeemed accordingly.
