Relief In Sewuah As Contractor Kofi Job Returns To Resume Feyiase Road Construction.

There is excitement among residents of Sewuah in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region following the return of Kofi Job Construction Limited to the Feyiase–Sewuah road project site.
For months, work on the critical stretch had stalled, leaving residents and motorists to endure dusty and deplorable road conditions that disrupted daily activities and economic life in the area.
Speaking to Angel Tv News reporter Bismark Mensah, residents said the contractor’s return to site shows a positive response to their long-standing concerns.
Many described the development as a great relief and called on the contractor not to abandon the project again until the entire road is fully completed.
They noted that the poor state of the road has affected farmers transporting produce, students commuting to school, and traders who rely on the route to access markets in Kumasi.
Residents are appealing to the contractor to fast-track the work and deliver a durable road before moving off site.
The Feyiase to Sewuah road is a major link road for communities within Bosomtwe and serves as an important connector to the Kumasi Metropolis.
Its completion is expected to ease transportation challenges, reduce travel time, boost local commerce, and improve access to health and educational facilities for thousands of people in the district.
The Assembly Member for the Sewuah Electoral Area, Hon. Prince Kwame Adutwum, confirmed the resumption of work and assured the community that the road will be completed without further delays.
He indicated that, he is closely monitoring the project to ensure steady progress and quality delivery.
According to him, equipment and workers are now fully mobilized on site, and construction activities have resumed in earnest.
