Chief Urges Support For CHPS Compound Project.

The Traditional Ruler of Agona Fawomanyi in the Agona East District, Nana Ansah Sekyi IV, has appealed to the government, individuals, and philanthropists to support the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound in the community.
According to the chief, the absence of a health facility in Agona Fawomanyi has contributed to a high rate of illnesses, making it difficult for residents to access timely medical care.
Nana Ansah Sekyi IV noted that the establishment of a CHPS compound would greatly improve healthcare delivery and help reduce sicknesses among community members.
He made the appeal during the celebration of the community’s annual Akwambo Festival, where he also called on residents to maintain peace and unity in order to attract more development projects to the area.
The chief emphasized that peaceful coexistence among the people is essential for the progress of Agona Fawomanyi and urged all stakeholders to work together for the growth and well-being of the community.
End.
