One Military personnel And A Civilian Critically Injured After STC Bus And Military Car Collided At Nkenkesu.

Some military personnel deployed to Bawku in the Upper East Region were involved in a road accident at Nkenkesu in the Ashanti Region on Sunday, July 26.
The crash involved a military vehicle transporting the personnel and a State Transport Corporation (STC) bus, according to preliminary information.
Police officers were deployed to the scene to assist with rescue operations, manage traffic and begin preliminary investigations into the incident.
The cause of the crash has not yet been established.
Authorities have also not confirmed the number of casualties or the extent of injuries sustained.
An eyewitness, Sarpong Kennedy, explained how the incident happened to our news reporter, Bismark Mensah, in an interview.
In an interview with our news reporter, Bismark Mensah, the Medical Superintendent at the Nkenkaasu government hospital, Dr. Samuel Freeman, said both the critically injured military personnel and the civilian have been transfered to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
