The Traditional Ruler for Gomoa Dominase in the Gomoa East District of Central Region Nana Sarfo Kantanka Kwaw Atta IX has advocated for a tertiary institution such as Nursing training college, Teacher training college or if possible a University in the area.
According to the Chief, Advocating for a tertiary institution in Gomoa Dominase community can drive massive economic growth, create local jobs, and make higher education more affordable for families.
Bringing a nursing training college or university to Gomoa Dominase will go a long way to reduce unemployment rate among the youth and also transform the area.
Nana Sarfo Kantanka hinted that, Gomoa Dominase community has a population of over 10,000 inhabitants but lacks tertiary institutions which forces students to travel all the way to Cape Coast or Accra to obtain knowledge from universities and colleges hence the call.
