Jaman North DCE Commends President Mahama Over The Speed Work On Berekum Jinijini–Sampa Road.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Jaman North, Hon. George Adane, has commended President John Dramani Mahama for facilitating the construction of the Jinijini–Sampa road, describing the project as a major relief to residents of Jaman North and other adjoining districts and municipalities who have endured challenges associated with the deplorable road.

He said construction works are progressing steadily and have reached close to the Sampa community.

However, Hon. Adane expressed concern over excessive speeding by some drivers and motorcyclists along the stretch, warning that such behaviour puts the lives of passengers and other road users at risk.

He therefore urged motorists to reduce their speed and exercise caution to prevent avoidable accidents and casualties.

Hon. George Adane also called on passengers to assert their rights by speaking up when drivers violate road-safety regulations, particularly through speeding and dangerous overtaking.

He further appealed to all road users to comply with Ghana’s road-safety regulations and remain vigilant throughout the construction stretch to help reduce road crashes.
