Berekum Police 40 Years Abandoned Accommodation Project Receive Renovation By M.p.

The Member of Parliament for Berekum East Constituency, Honourable SIMON AMPAABENG KYEREMEH, is giving a facelift to 40 years abandoned police accommodation project for over 4 decades in Berekum east in the bono region

‎The abandoned police accommodation has remained uncompleted for over 40 years, leaving the facility in a deteriorated state. The over 16 police apartment became a hideout for criminals and a place of convenience for many people.

‎The situation attracted public concern, the condition of the project and its potential to provide much-needed accommodation for police personnel in the area.
‎

The Berekum East MP, SIMON AMPAABENG KYEREMEH, has stepped in to give the facility a facelift.
‎
‎Renovation works are progressing steadily, with significant portions of the project now completed.
‎
‎The intervention is expected to provide decent accommodation for police personnel and help improve their working conditions.
‎
‎The Member of Parliament has also broken ground for the construction of durbar grounds for the Akroforo and Mpatapo communities, a project aimed at providing the communities with suitable spaces to host traditional, cultural and social gatherings.

The initiative is expected to enhance community development and provide residents with a befitting venue for important communal activities and celebrations.

‎Some of the people in mpatapo who were present during the meeting with nananom and the good people of mpatapo also said they are greatful to the member of parliament and they believe he will complete the Durbar grounds for them and even add more projects before 2028
