Ndc Targets Akwatia Seat With Renewed Agenda-Ludwig

The National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) Director of Protocol and Logistics, Ludwig Hlordze, expressed confidence in the party’s chances of winning the Akwatia by-election, citing their “Resetting the Agenda” strategy as key to securing victory.

Speaking to the media after their vetting in Koforidua, Hlordze expressed optimism about the party’s prospects.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vetted three aspirants vying for the party’s parliamentary ticket in the Akwatia constituency ahead of the September 2 by-election. In Koforidua in the Eastern Region.

According to Ludwig Hlordze, the party’s Director of Protocol and Logistics, the NDC is confident of emerging victorious in the by-election, attributing its optimism to its “Resetting the Agenda” strategy.

He stressed that their strategy is centered on reconnecting with the constituents and addressing their pressing concerns.

We are confident that our message will appeal to the electorate, and we will secure a victory.

The NDC is determined to capitalize on the opportunity presented by the by-election and wrestle the seat from its rivals.

The three aspirants vying for the NDC’s parliamentary ticket in Akwatia constituency – Henry Yiadom Boakye (Okoyo), a former MP and 2024 parliamentary candidate; Bernard Bediako Baidoo, a legal practitioner; and Erasmus Koney Ali (Asanka) – expressed confidence in the party’s chances of winning the upcoming by-election, provided they are given the opportunity to lead.
