President Mahama’s Reset Agenda Is Not Mere Rhetoric” – Traditional Leaders Affirm During Meeting With Regional Minister

A high-level delegation of traditional leaders from five paramountcies in the Ho West Constituency paid a courtesy call to Volta Regional Minister Hon.
James Gunu to discuss development issues and extend invitations to upcoming festivals.
The delegation, led by District Chief Executive Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, comprised representatives from the Dodome, Awudome, Ziavi, Anfoeta and Tsyome Afedo Traditional Areas.
During the meeting, the traditional leaders expressed strong support for President John Mahama’s development agenda, with one senior chief declaring that “President Mahama’s reset agenda is not mere rhetoric but is already yielding visible results in our communities.
” Minister Gunu welcomed the delegation’s endorsement, reaffirming the government’s commitment to ensuring equitable development across all parts of the Volta Region.
He assured the traditional authorities that the Mahama administration remains focused on delivering tangible development projects that will benefit current and future generations.
The leaders took the opportunity to present their key development priorities and officially invited the Minister to attend their upcoming cultural festivals, invitations which Hon. Gunu graciously accepted while pledging to strengthen the existing partnership between government and traditional authorities.
The meeting concluded with both parties expressing optimism about the region’s development prospects and reaffirming their shared commitment to working together for the progress of the Volta Region.
