Volta Regional Directorate Of Education Eyes Top Honors At 2025 National Teachers’ Day Awards

The Volta Regional Directorate of Education is optimistic about securing top honors at the 2025 National Teachers’ Day Awards. According to the Volta Regional Director of Education, Francis Yaw Agbemadi, the region’s teachers are strong contenders due to their dedication and commitment to excellence.
“We are confident that our teachers will shine at the national level.
The quality of work they are doing in our schools is commendable, and we are hopeful that their efforts will be duly recognized,” Agbemadi said.
The awards ceremony, scheduled for October 5, 2025, at the Ho UHAS Cedi Auditorium, will feature participation from all 16 regions of Ghana.
The theme is “Elevating The Status of Teachers for Quality Education.”
Award categories include Best Kindergarten Teacher, Best Primary School Teacher, Best Junior High School Teacher, Best Senior High School Teacher, and Special Awards for innovation, leadership, and rural teaching excellence.
The Local Planning Committee, led by Deputy Volta Regional Director of Education, Mrs. Marian Jemima Akua Adzroe, has made significant arrangements for the event, including securing sponsorship from benevolent individuals who support education and want to celebrate hardworking teachers.
