Youth Urged To Abstain From Premarital Sex And Drug Abuse

The Queen Mother of Accra Town in the Wassa East District of the Western Region, Nana Aqwei Kua I, has strongly advised the youth to avoid premarital sex and drug abuse.

She expressed concern that many school-going girls are dropping out due to teenage pregnancies, which she believes negatively impacts their future prospects.

Nana Aqwei Kua I also warned against the use of hard drugs, urging young people to lead exemplary lives as they are the future leaders of the nation.

The Queen Mother made these remarks during the launch of the “Anidaso Foundation”, an initiative she established to provide financial support to the underprivileged in society.

Nana Yaw Bariamah Gyan II, the Benkumhene of the Mampongso Divisional Area, lauded Nana Aqwei Kua I for her vision and dedication in creating the foundation.

He appealed to other traditional leaders to follow her example in supporting the needy.
