Jaman South MP Cut Sod For The Construction Of Major Developmental Projects

The Member of Parliament for the Jaman South Constituency, Hon. Col. Kwadwo Damoah, has officially commenced the construction of significant developmental projects within his constituency to promote advancement.

During the sod-cutting ceremony, Col. Kwadwo Damoah expressed that prior to the 2024 election, he campaigned across his entire constituency and pledged to address the major requests made by his constituents upon his election as MP.

As the Member of Parliament, he has decided to return to his constituents and initiate the fulfillment of the promises he made to them.

The projects include the construction of nurses’ quarters at Dodosuo, the construction of a two-storey dormitory block at Gonasua Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and the distribution of streetlight bulbs to all assembly members of the Jaman South Municipal Assembly to enhance security in their respective electoral areas.

The Member of Parliament stated that these are 2025 projects, and he is diligently working to ensure the annual distribution of their share of national resources to facilitate progress in all communities within the Jaman South Constituency.

Mr. Kofi Darmoah Appenkwah, representing Camoh Engineering Company Limited, who is the contractor responsible for the project, stated that the dormitory block is scheduled for completion within eighteen months.
He assured that he would diligently work to complete the project on time, contingent upon receiving timely payment.
He also provided an explanation of the project’s design.

Residents from the beneficiary communities conveyed their gratitude to the Member of Parliament for the support extended to the Gonasua community.

They expressed that this project will significantly contribute to providing relief for students at the Gonasua Technical and Vocational Education and Training institution.
