MP For Salaga South Constituency Visits Gbetekpo To Thank Residents, Address Local Concerns

The Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Hon. Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimiah, has paid a courtesy visit to the residents of Gbetekpo.

During her visit, Hon. Zuwera conveyed greetings from the Majority Leader to the people of Gbetekpo.

She explained that the purpose of the visit was not only to show appreciation for their support but also to address issues affecting the community, both positive and negative.

She emphasized that Gbetekpo and Chaka are closely connected communities.

While she had previously focused on Chaka following the 2024 general elections, she noted that it was now the right time to come to Gbetekpo to express her gratitude.

She highlighted that out of 126 polling stations in the constituency, some stations had been overlooked, but her visit was meant to cover the remaining 17 stations.

“It has never been intentional to ignore your efforts, and we will never forget your support.

Even if we did, God will never forgive us,” she said.

Hon. Zuwera added that her team is touring all areas that voted for them to personally thank the constituents.

They also plan to meet with the council of elders, party executives, and other key stakeholders in Salaga South.

Additionally, they will reach out to residents who have returned from Yeji.

Meanwhile, some residents expressed optimism about the New Democratic Congress (NDC) government, hoping it would serve a full twelve-year term.

They also urged the MP to fulfill her promises to the people of Salaga South.
