DANClub Foundation Urges Support For Overcrowded Prisons

The DANClub foundation in the Ashanti region has called on benevolent individuals to come and support Amanfrom Camp Prisons with relief items, citing pressing needs such as food, building materials, and health equipment.

Bishop Dr. Peter Kofi Domfe made the appeal during a visit to the prison, where the foundation donated items like rice, oil, cement, maize, beans, and health equipment.

The donation is part of the DANClub foundation’s outreach program, aiming to bring attention to the plarity of prisons in Ghana.

The foundation’s efforts are a step towards making a positive impact, and they hope to inspire others to join the cause.

Bishop Dr. Peter Kofi Domfe emphasized that the foundation will continue to support the prison and other vulnerable groups in society.

Assistant Chaplain DSP Emmanuel Yinbil expressed gratitude for the donation and highlighted the prison’s challenges, including congestion and inadequate feeding.

He appealed to other individuals to support the prison, emphasizing the need for facilities to address these issues.

“The support from DANClub foundation is a welcome relief, but we still need more,” he said. ”

We appeal to philanthropists and well-wishers to come to our aid and help us provide for the inmates.”
