Let’s Climb The Success Ladder Together With Your Start Up Capital….Okere DCE To PWDs

The District Chief Executive for Okere in the Eastern Region, Eric Williams Ayettey, has urged PWDs in the district to climb up the success ladder together with them with the capital given to them by the government from the common fund.

Speaking to the Media during the presentation of start-up capital and items to 52 PWDs at Adukrom, he stated that most PWDs struggle making it in life due to their condition, which he believes this initiative will help empower them in their daily activities.

According to him, the items given to the PWDs in Okere district were requested by themselves, which he believes will help each and every one in the district.

He therefore charged the department of Social Welfare in the Okere district to monitor the items given to the PWDs for effective use.

The Gyaase-Hene for Abiriw, Nana Aboagye Gyabaa III, urged Ghanaians to applaud government for not neglecting PWDs in his administration and also allocating funds to empower PWDs in the Country.

The PWDs Chairman in Okere, Samuel Amoafo, thanked the government for increasing their capital and also urged his colleagues to make good use of the items and capital given to them.
