Salaga South MP Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah Attends CRC 100th Session, Visits IPU Offices In Geneva

The Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has paid a working visit to the offices of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva.

The visit coincides with her participation in the 100th Session of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), where key issues relating to child protection, welfare, and the promotion of children’s rights are being discussed at the international level.

Speaking during the visit, Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah indicated that she is in Geneva as part of Ghana’s engagement with global partners on matters affecting children and parliamentary cooperation, adding that updates from the ongoing sessions will be shared in due course.

The IPU, headquartered in Geneva, is a global body that brings together national parliaments to promote democracy, peace, and sustainable development through dialogue and cooperation among legislators worldwide.
