Mp Fulfils Campaign Promise With Construction Of Concrete Bridge At Kenyasi Jericho
Hon. Ebenezer Kwaku Addo, Member of Parliament for Asutifi North District in the Ahafo Region, has fulfilled a key campaign promise by constructing a concrete bridge for residents of Kenyasi Jericho.
Speaking to the media during the commissioning of the bridge, the MP explained that the previous structure was a dilapidated wooden bridge, which posed serious challenges to residents especially during the rainy season.
He recalled that during the 2024 election campaign, he appealed to residents to vote for him, promising to replace the unsafe wooden bridge with a concrete one.
According to him, the completion of the project is a demonstration of his commitment to honoring promises made to his constituents.
Hon. Addo also disclosed that solar streetlights have been installed around the bridge to improve visibility and enhance security.
The Assembly Member for Jericho, Hon. Gloria Kwartemaa, expressed her appreciation to the MP and appealed for continued support to address other developmental needs of the community.
Residents of Kenyasi Jericho also thanked the MP, noting that the new bridge has eased their burden and improved easy and safe access within the area.
