I Well Ensure Good People Of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Sees A Face Lift Of Good Roads During My Four Years Mandate As Member Of Parliament

The Western North Regional Department of Urban Roads, together with the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), have inspected the deplorable town roads in Bibiani and its surrounding suburbs in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

Residents of Estate, Attakrom, New Town, Ohiampe Anika, and other suburbs of Bibiani have long lamented the poor condition of their roads, which severely affects their businesses and transportation. In response to these concerns, the MP, Bright Asamoah Brefo, and the MCE led an inspection tour alongside the Western North Regional Director of the Department of Urban Roads.

Speaking during the inspection, MP Bright Asamoah Brefo assured the affected communities that patching works would commence in a few days’ time to make the roads smoother and more motorable.

The Western North Regional Director of Urban Roads, Richard Nii Komieteh Tetteh, also confirmed that the contractor is mobilizing equipment to begin work soon.

He added that plans are in place to apply a second layer of bitumen to ensure the roads last longer.
