Farmers, Landlords Protest Against Landguards Over Encroachment Of Cemetry,Other Lands.

Angry farmers, landlords, and residents of Gomoa Aprah in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region have protested against the rising landguards activities in the area.

This, according to some victims, the landguards’ unlawful activities are causing fear and panic in the area, mass selling of lands including the community’s cemetry amongst others.

The farmers speaking in an interview with Angel news bemoaned that the available land for development, including school land, market site, police station dumping site, have been invaded by the landguards.

They are, therefore, calling on the state authorities comprising the Inspector General of Police IGP as a matter of urgency curb thr situation.

Moreover, the chairman for Gomoa Aprah landlords Association, Mr. Paul Otabil also spoke to Angel News.
