Cape Coast North Mp Vows To Break Education Barriers.

The Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North in the Central Region, Hon. Dr. Kwamina Mintah-Nyarku, has reaffirmed his commitment to education, describing it as a top priority in his leadership agenda.

Speaking at the commissioning of a (6) six-unit classroom block in Esuekyir M/A Basic School, the MP pledged to remove barriers preventing children from enrolling in school.

He assured constituents that his office will support initiatives to improve education infrastructure and make schooling accessible for all children.

Furthermore, Mintah-Nyarku urged parents to prioritize education for their children and wards.

The Central Regional Director of Education, Dr. Juliette Dufie Otami, appealed to chiefs and residents to protect school infrastructure in their communities.

She accounted that several buildings remain in a deplorable state in the central region due to poor maintenance by both government and community members.

“On behalf of the Ghana Education Service and these school children here we pledge to protect this new classroom block.”

Meanwhile, the Chief of Esuekyir Community, Nana Kwodwo Abaka V, expressed delight at how quickly the government, through the MP, resolved a major challenge at the local basic school by commissioning the new block within few months,lack of classrooms was a major challenge for the school,

Chief, commended Cape Coast Mayor Hon. George Justice Arthur and MP Dr. Kwamina Mintah-Nyarku for their collaborative efforts to improve the metropolist.
