Sekondi Mp Launches Sustainable Sachet Water Project To Fund Community Development.

The Member of Parliament for Sekondi, Lawyer Armah Blay Nyameke, has commissioned the Sekunde Sachet Water Factory as part of his Easter package to the people of the constituency.
Speaking at the commissioning, the MP described the initiative as a sustainable approach to funding social intervention programmes in the area.
He explained that proceeds from the sale of the sachet water will be used to support key initiatives such as the distribution of free exercise books and free transportation for schoolchildren.
He added that from this year, the programme will also include the provision of pens and pencils.
According to him, the project is designed to be self-sustaining, where continuous patronage by residents will generate revenue to expand and maintain social support programmes.
He emphasized that the factory is a community-based project aimed at directly improving the lives of the people.
Beyond social interventions, the project is also expected to create employment and income-generating opportunities.
A resident of Adiembra, Baaba Bentsil, welcomed the initiative and praised the Member of Parliament for fulfilling a key campaign promise.
He expressed excitement about the location of the factory within his community, noting that it will create employment opportunities for the youth.
An employee of the factory, Nicholas Yandoh, also shared his experience, describing the opportunity as life-changing.
He revealed that after graduating from university three years ago, he faced significant challenges and had to travel to Sekondi in search of better opportunities.
