Respect The Plea Made By Krobo Chiefs, MMDCES To Retract From The Tribal Comment – Chief Tells MP.
The Chief of Suisi-Okwenya in the Manya Krobo Traditional Council Olepeme Sakinor Nanor I has advised the MP for New Juabeng South ,Michael Okyere Baafi to respect the directive of the traditional leaders, MMDCES and the people of Krobo to retract his tribal comment made against the Eastern Regional Minister Rita Akosua Agyei Awaitey.
Speaking to Angel News Reporter Jaman Dehyee Opambour at his palace at Kojonya, he noted that, a lot of chiefs, dignitaries have notified him to retract from such tribal comment to foster peace between the regional minister and the people of Krobo but all prove futile, however, he believes that will redeem his image as a parliamentarian.
According to Nene, the MP is allegiance to a chief in Koforidua, therefore he should demonstrate prestigious behaviors to traditional leaders from the Krobo enclave.
He added retracting from the tribal comment will strengthen his political career for the future.
Nene Olepeme Sakinor Nanor I urge tempers to cool down in order to enable the MP to retract from the tribal comment.
