Father AB To NPP Leadership: “Strategic Communication Is Our Ultimate Weapon To Break NDC’s Grip On Ekumfi Since 1992”.

A determined and forward-looking contender for the Communications Officer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ekumfi Constituency, Mr. Armah Abraham—widely known as Father AB—has delivered a bold and urgent message to the party’s leadership: the time for strategic, aggressive, and intelligent communication is now.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Douglas Oyiboh Amponsah, Father AB made it unequivocally clear that the long-standing dominance of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ekumfi—dating back to 1992—can no longer be tolerated.

According to him, this dominance has thrived not on performance, but on a calculated communication advantage that has shaped narratives and masked realities for decades.

“If we are serious about winning Ekumfi, then we must be even more serious about how we communicate. Strategic communication is not optional—it is our most potent weapon,” he asserted.

With confidence and clarity, Father AB declared himself the right man for the task, emphasizing that effective communication is not just a skill he possesses, but a calling he has mastered.

He stressed that the NPP must adopt a proactive, disciplined, and results-driven communication strategy to dismantle the NDC’s long-held influence.

Directly appealing to delegates and party leadership, Father AB urged them to entrust him with the mandate to lead a new era of political communication—one that informs, inspires, and mobilizes.

He argued that under his leadership, the NPP will not only reclaim Ekumfi but sustain its hold through consistent engagement and message discipline.

Drawing a sharp contrast, he highlighted the NPP’s impactful tenure between 2016 and 2020 under Francis Kingsley Ato Cudjoe, citing flagship initiatives like One District One Factory (1D1F), job creation for the youth, security recruitment, and skills training programs as clear evidence of the party’s commitment to real development.

“We have the record. We have the results. What we need now is the voice—the strong, strategic voice—to tell our story and win back our people,” he emphasized.

Father AB is not merely presenting himself as an aspirant; he is positioning himself as the strategic force capable of reshaping the political narrative in Ekumfi.

With a rich background as a missionary, educator, Creative Arts leader, and communicator, he brings a unique blend of experience, discipline, and passion to the role.

In a compelling closing message, he called on NPP leadership, grassroots members, and floating voters to reflect deeply, choose wisely, and rally behind a vision that guarantees victory and sustained development.

“Give me the mandate, and together we will not only win Ekumfi—we will secure it for generations to come,” he declared with conviction.

In a separate powerful address, Father AB reaffirmed that his candidacy represents the enduring strength and future of the NPP in Ekumfi.

He described communication as his “passionate work” and insisted that no one is better prepared, more committed, or more capable of leading the party’s communication front.

He concluded with a resolute pledge:
to lead the charge, reclaim the seat, and firmly keep Ekumfi out of the reach of the NDC.
