Collapse Building Kills 6-Year-Old Girl At Gomoa Jukwa.

Tragedy has struck the people of Gomoa Jukwa in the Central Region after a collapsed building reportedly killed a 6-year-old girl.

The unfortunate incident happened during a heavy rainfall when part of an old building suddenly collapsed on the victim. Residents in the area quickly rushed to the scene in an attempt to rescue the child from the debris, but she was later confirmed dead.

Eyewitnesses say the building had developed cracks for some time, raising concerns among residents about its safety. Some community members are blaming poor maintenance and weak structures for the disaster.

The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the morgue while police have begun investigations into the incident.

Residents are therefore calling on authorities and the district assembly to inspect old and weak buildings within the community to prevent future occurrences.
