Twifu Kayireku In Twifu-Atti Morkwa District Cries For Help Over Flooding.

Residents of Twifu Kayireku in the Twifu-Atti Morkwa District are appealing to authorities over persistent flood problems that cut them off from Twifu Praso, their main market center for business and other activities.
According to community members, heavy rains often block access roads and flood homes.
This prevents traders, students, and farmers from reaching Twifu Praso, which serves as the district’s commercial hub.
The situation is affecting livelihoods, school attendance, and emergency movement.
Residents say most at-risk areas are flooded for days, leaving families stranded.
“The community is crying for help from authorities,” some residents stated.
They are calling on the District Assembly, NADMO, and government agencies to construct proper drains, raise roads, Covert, and provide lasting flood control measures.
They believe urgent intervention will reconnect Twifu Kayireku to Twifu Praso and protect lives and businesses.
