Two Suspects Arrest By Stolen Vehicle Parts…Ashaiman Police.

The Ashaiman District Police Command has arrested two persons for allegedly possessing suspected stolen vehicle parts.
The suspects, identified as John Atsu and Jonathan Puplampu, were arrested during a routine night patrol at the Ashaiman Roundabout.
According to the District Police Commander, Superintendent of Police (SUPT) ORLANDO JOSEPH DZOKPA, the arrest occurred at about 2:55am on Monday, June 16, 2026, when a police patrol team led by C/Inspr. Prosper K. Amponsah intercepted a taxi cab carrying several vehicle components.
The items retrieved from the suspects include clutch boosters, two boxes of fuel injectors, two boxes of mounting top lights, and a pair of headlights.
Police say the suspects failed to provide documents covering the items when questioned, and their suspicious conduct raised concerns that the goods may have been stolen.
The exhibits have been secured by the police to assist investigations.
The two suspects have had their caution statements taken and are currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
Police say the suspects are expected to help identify and arrest other persons who may be connected to the alleged crime, while a visit to the crime scene will also be conducted.
