The frequent repairs have pushed transport operators to increase fares, a cost they say is passed on to passengers already burdened by the high cost of living.

The drivers warned that if urgent steps are not taken, the manhole at Kwadaso Nsuom will become a full-blown death trap.

They described the current state of the road as dangerous, noting that the deepening damage poses serious risks to motorists, passengers, and pedestrians who use the interchange daily.

Commuters and drivers in Kwadaso Municipality are now appealing to the relevant authorities and road agencies to intervene immediately.

They say repairing the manhole and restoring the road surface will ease traffic, reduce vehicle damage, and prevent a potential tragedy under the busy interchange at Kwadaso Nsuom.
