Man Found Dead In Backyard, Suspected Electrocution In Mankssim.

Mfantseman Mankssim, Central Region – A man in his 30s has been discovered deceased in his backyard in Mankssim, days after he was reported missing by the community. Authorities are investigating the incident, with initial suspicions pointing towards electrocution as the cause of death.

The discovery was made this evening by residents and the assembly member for the Anafo Estate Electra area, who had been actively searching for the man since he was reported missing three days ago.

The search efforts spanned the entire locality before his body was finally located at his residence.

Following the grim discovery, the deceased’s body has been transported to the Saltpond Mortuary for preservation and a formal post-mortem examination.

The Ghana Police Service has commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s untimely demise.

Details regarding the exact source of the suspected electrocution are yet to be released as the investigation unfolds.
