KMA Resumes Demolition At Asafo Interchange After Clashes.

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, KMA, has resumed the second phase of its demolition exercise at the Asafo Interchange and surrounding areas this morning.

The exercise, which was previously halted due to clashes between taskforce members and affected traders, is being carried out without any disturbances.

KMA officials and security personnel were on the ground early this morning to pull down unauthorized structures around the interchange.

According to the Assembly, the demolition is part of efforts to decongest the area, improve traffic flow, and restore sanity at the busy transport hub.
