Driver And Mate Hospitalized After Accident At Adiembra.

A driver and his mate are currently on admission at tge Nyinahin government hospital after sustaining severe injuries in an accident at Adiembra in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.

Speaking in an interview with our Angel Tv News reporter, Bismark Mensah, Assembly man for Adiembra electoral area, Hon Abdullah Issah, incident occurred when the vehicle they were traveling in lost control and crashed.

He said both the driver and his mate sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby health facility for treatment. Medical officials say they are responding to treatment but remain under observation due to the severity of their injuries.

Hon. Issah says accidents on that stretch have become frequent, and they are calling on authorities to improve road safety measures and signage in the area.

The police have since visited the scene and begun investigations into the cause of the accident. The damaged vehicle has also been towed from the road.

The Atwima Mponua District has recorded several road accidents in recent months, with road safety advocates urging drivers to exercise caution, especially on rural roads.
