Abusapanyin Samuel Okai Of Mensaman Called On The IGP Over Alleged Land Guard Activities, Police Officers’ Interference On Family Land Matters.

The Abusapanyin of Mensaman in the Ga West Municipality, Abusapanyin Samuel Okai, has appealed to the Inspector General of Police Christian Tetteh Yohono and the government to intervene in what he describes as alleged land guard activities on his family’s land.
He also called on some police officers to desist from interfering in family land matters.
Speaking to the press, Abusapanyin Samuel Okai alleged that Jacob Kofi Okai, and one Mr. Ben. he claims is a police officer, has been disturbing the family over a parcel of land.
According to him, the said land was rightfully sold to one Mr. Flex Nii Agor Doku, but the alleged police officer and Jacob Kofi Okai has since been creating confusion between the family and the buyer.
He explained that the sale was legitimate and done with the full consent of the family, therefore the interference is unlawful and is causing chaos.
The Abusapanyin said they rightfully sold the land to Mr. Flex Nii Agor Doku. But this alleged police officer is creating chaos among the family and the buyer. We are calling on the IGP and government to come to our aid,” he said.
Abusapanyin Samuel Okai is therefore urging the IGP to investigate the matter and ensure peace prevails on the land.
The victim, Felix Nii Agyei-Doku, has appealed to the Inspector General of Police to intervene in a land dispute at Mensaman.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Felix Agyei-Doku said, he bought the land rightfully from the Abusapanyin and family of Mensaman.
He alleged that Jacob Kofi Okai, and Ben. who he claims is a police officer, is attempting to create chaos over the legitimately acquired land.
He is therefore calling on the IGP to call to order some police officers who allegedly interfere in family land matters, to allow peace to prevail.
End.
