Dzodze Afeyime Gets Potable Water After Decades Of Water Shortage.

Residents of Dzodze Afeyime in the Volta Region now have a sigh of relief after having access to a potable water following the commissioning of a new borehole water facility for the community.
For decades, residents have struggled without a reliable supply of water through the public distribution system, forcing them to depend largely on boreholes and rainwater to meet their daily needs.
However, the situation is expected to improve following an initiative by the Paramount Queen of Dzodze Traditional Area, Mamaga Hude III, who has supported the establishment of the new borehole facility as part of efforts to address the community’s persistent water challenge.
Speaking at the commissioning of the facility, Mama Dorla Nutifafa Worname II explained the motivation behind the project, stressing the importance of access to safe and reliable water to the wellbeing and development of the community.
The Dufia of Dzodze Afeyime, Torgbui Adzenu III, described the lack of potable water as one of the major challenges confronting residents of the community.
He expressed appreciation to Mama Dorla Nutifafa Worname II for the initiative, saying the facility would help ease the burden residents have endured for several years.
Torgbui Adzenu III also appealed to other benevolent individuals, organisations and development partners to support Dzodze Afeyime with projects that would improve living conditions and promote the development of the community.
