Four Suspects Arrested In Connection With Assin Fosu Kidnapping.

The Central North Regional Police Command, in collaboration with the National Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and the Cybercrime Unit of the Ghana Police Service, has arrested four suspects in connection with the kidnapping of 30-year-old Bismark Amoh at Assin Fosu in the Central Region.

Mr Amoh was abducted on Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Assin Fosu and was reportedly held hostage for several days.

According to Angel News sources, the suspects were arrested at Pankorano in the Ashanti Region, where the victim is believed to have been held.

The arrests follow a week of intensive investigations by the police, which led to the successful rescue of the victim.

The victim was reportedly abandoned by his abductors on the outskirts of New Edubiase in the Ashanti Region after the kidnapping incident gained public attention and was widely reported in the media.

Sources say that after abandoning the victim, the suspects gave him GH¢50 as transportation fare to enable him to return to Assin Fosu.

The four suspects arrested have been identified by their aliases as Culture, Shadow, Oteng, and a woman who is said to have masterminded the abduction.

The Central North Regional Police Command is expected to hold a press conference today, Monday, September 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. to provide further details on the investigation, the arrests and other developments in the case.
