A/R NPP Flagbearer  Announces Free  Dialysis  Under  Nhis For Aged  And  Children in December 

The Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahmoud Bawumia has reiterated government’s commitment to roll out a free dialysis for aged and children under its comprehensive health plan on National health Insurance Scheme package , starting on December 1, 2024.

He said government is procuring more dialysis machines to support that policy .and will also assist in the kidney transplant as captured in the party’s manifesto .

Dr. Bawumia further stressed that government measures to introduce free medical checks and wellness clinics aimed at minimizing the increasing burden of chronic diseases like renal failure and other non communicable diseases .

Adding that Tissue organ donation, storage and transplantation law will be pass into law to guide kidney and other organs transplantation in the country .

The Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahmoud Bawumia who doubles as the Presidential candidate of the new patriotic party made these know at Old Tafo Constituency when he met with key stakeholders as part of his campaign tour of the Ashanti region.
