NDC Women’s Wing Curses Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah Over Alleged False Claims
The Women’s Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ahafo Ano South West Constituency has placed a curse on Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, the Member of Parliament for the constituency.
The group accuses him of spreading false information about them in a recent radio interview.
At a press conference held this afternoon, the Constituency Women’s Organizer, Madam Adwoa Owusuwaa, explained the reason behind their actions.
According to her, the NDC Women’s Wing decided to demonstrate following the recent parliamentary election results, where the NPP allegedly lost the seat to the NDC in the constituency.
In the aftermath of the demonstration, Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah is alleged to have claimed during a radio interview that the NDC Women’s Wing had begged for his forgiveness over their actions.
He is also accused of falsely stating that the women admitted their parliamentary candidate, Hon. Abubakari Sadick, is incapable of reading or writing.
The Women’s Wing vehemently denied these allegations, describing them as baseless and damaging to their reputation.
“We cannot sit back and allow such untruths to tarnish our group and our candidate. Hon. Abubakari Sadick is a capable leader, and Hon. Elvis Dapaah’s claims are a complete fabrication,” Madam Owusuwaa emphasized.
The women further expressed their outrage over the claims and invoked curses, calling on the gods of the Ahafo Ano South West District to punish the MP for what they believe to be deliberate lies.
And demanded an immediate retraction and apology from the MP, warning of severe consequences if he fails to comply.
