NDC Supporters Storm GRIDCo Headquarters To Protest CEO Appointment

GRIDCo, where a group of NDC members have gathered to express their dissatisfaction over the appointment of Mr. Mark Baah as the acting CEO of the company.

The protesters, who traveled all the way from Tamale in the Northern Region, are demanding that President Mahama revoke the appointment immediately.

Protester, We cannot sit by and allow this appointment to stand! Mr. Mark Baah is a known NPP man with close ties to Matthew Opoku Prempeh.

How can President Mahama appoint someone aligned with the opposition to lead such a critical state institution? We demand an immediate reversal of this decision!

This is a clear case of political infiltration! GRIDCo plays a key role in our energy sector, and we cannot afford to have someone with NPP interests at the helm. We traveled from Tamale to make our voices heard, and we will not leave until justice is served.

Meanwhile, the protesters mean mention of CEO of VRA, Edward Ekow Obeng-Kenzo, and the Managing Director of ECG, Ing. Julius Kwame Kpekpena cannot continue their duties amidst the controversy. So the president must revoked their appointment immediately and employed a young into the sectors.

However, some of the followers narrate their worries and demand immediate response from the Government, speaking to the media said;
