Over 100 Farmers Cry For Help As Alleged Landguards Destroy Acres Of Plantation At Nsuobri

Over hundred farmers in four different communities such as Nsuobri, Fianko, Kodi-abɛ and others near Awutu Bawjiase have called on the government for help as alleged Landguards destroyed their farm plantations through sand winning.

According to the victims, the alleged Landguards activities are being led by one Baba and Tailor who are reported to have tormented farmers in the area claiming ownership of the said land.

The victims further echoed that, Baba and Tailor have graded their cassava, plantain, maize, beans, palm and coconut plantation without compensation meanwhile the land in question doesn’t belong to them hence calling on security agencies and the government to intervene.

Meanwhile, Angel news reporter Opanyin Darko went further to speak with Nana Kofi Bosompem popularly known as Baba and he has debunked the above allegations leveled against them.

The land in question belongs to my forefathers and I have documents hence l have every right to protect my property so I’m not a landguard, he debunked.
