Afari hene Appeals To The Government To Fastrack Completion Of Military Hospital To Boost Jobs For The Youth

Nana Kwame Dapaah II(Afarihene) in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipality of the Ashanti region is appealing to H.E. President John Dramani Mahama through Defence Ministry to fast track completion of 500 bed capacity Afari  Military Hospital, which commences a decade ago.

According to him ,the completion of the project would boost jobs for the youth,reduce pressure at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and boost petty trading as well for the area, and boost revenue for the assembly.

At the Atenasebo ceremony of Nana Tiwaa( Afari Baanie fetish Priest) held at the premises of Afari Palace, he hinted.

Going forward, Nana Kwame Dapaah II, who is also 2IC of Western Central Region of Ghana Police Services, calls for respect,peace, and unity to accelerate development and restore the goodwill of Afariman.

Finally, Abusuapanin Kwabena Tawiah, Royal Family Head underscored the significance of the restoration of Tano Barnie diety over 45 yrs now was not in usage and its cultural values to Afari Traditional Council.
