Reforestation Initiative 2025 Planting 30 Million Trees Across Ghana….Clement Amoh Omari,

Ghana is set to embark on an ambitious environmental campaign, planting 30 million tree seedlings across the country from June 5th to June 30th, 2025. The Tree for Life Reforestation Initiative aims to restore degraded landscapes, combat climate change, and promote sustainable land use.

In an interview with Angel news reporter Kesse Solomon . The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has emphasized the significance of tree planting initiatives, stating that they are creating a valuable gift for the environment.

According to Dr. Amoakohene, the trees planted today will benefit future generations and contribute to a healthier ecosystem.

In an addition, Asafo Hene, Nana Akyemfoɔ Asafo Boakye Agyeman Bonus ,has highlighted the crucial role trees play in the environment.

Trees are vital in our ecosystem, providing oxygen and absorbing carbon dioxide, He stated, Deforestation, on the other hand, poses significant threats to our well-being and the environment.

Therefore , the Ashanti Regional Manager for the Forestry Commission is Clement Amoh Omari, the manager for forestry commission said, they want students to be actively involved in tree planting activities, so they understand the importance of trees in building a Better Ghana, he emphasizing the initiative’s educational aspect.

This effort aims to instill environmental awareness and responsibility in young minds, promoting sustainability and conservation.

By participating in tree planting, our children will gain hands-on experience and develop a deeper appreciation for nature’s role in shaping their future.
