The Member of Parliament-elect for Sekondi, Lawyer Blay Nyameke Armah, has called on his constituents to set aside pre-election political differences and unite for the development of the constituency.
The churches he visited included Christ Apostolic Church, Presbyterian Church, All Saint Andrews Anglican Church, and Wesley Methodist Church.
Addressing the congregants, Lawyer Blay acknowledged that elections often create divisions among people but urged them to move past such differences to work together for Sekondi’s collective good.
“Sekondi is our shared heritage, and we cannot afford to let political divisions hinder its progress.
Unity is the key to ensuring that we develop our constituency and create opportunities for all,” he stated.
He reiterated his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises and fostering development across Sekondi..
He also commended his predecessor, Lawyer Andrew Kofi Egyapa Mercer, for his contributions to the constituency’s growth, assuring him of continuous collaboration to ensure continuity in development efforts.
As Sekondi begins a new chapter under his leadership, Lawyer Blay urged all residents to focus on what unites them rather than what divides them, emphasizing that their collective efforts would determine the constituency’s success.
