Court Remands Four Nurses Over Alleged Theft Of GH₵5m From Amegashe Herbal Clinic.

Four nurses who are waiting for their government posting have been arrested by the Kasoa New Market Police Command for the alleged theft of GH₵5m within three months and have been arranged before Kasoa Ofaakor Circuit Court today.
After the court proceedings, two out of the four nurses were remanded where they are to reappear on the 13th of July, 2026 but the two didn’t show up in court.
Angel news speaking to the clinic’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Amegashie after the court proceedings said, the suspects, who worked at the Kasoa branch, allegedly diverted patients’ payments into their personal accounts by operating an unofficial register that was separate from the hospital’s official records.
The alleged scheme reportedly enabled them to pocket funds that should have been accounted for by the facility, Dr. Amegashie said the irregularities were uncovered during an internal review, leading to their arrest and a police investigations
Meanwhile, Dr. Amegashie has therefore called on both government workers and private workers to desist from such unlawful habits since it’s difficult to establish a bessines the to employ people.
