Akobima Shines Community Unites For A Sparkling Clean-Up Drive.

The Akobima Electoral Area in the Mfantsman Municipality is looking a whole lot brighter thanks to a fantastic community-wide clean-up exercise! Spearheaded by the Hon. Assembly Member, Eric Stanley Acquah, affectionately known as “Mfantsman kk,” the event saw an incredible turnout of residents eager to make a difference.
Hon. Acquah took a moment to express his sincere appreciation to the traditional leaders (Nananom), the Assembly Member himself, and every single resident who rolled up their sleeves and participated.
“Your dedication and enthusiasm are truly inspiring!” he remarked, highlighting the power of working together.
Embracing the spirit of “susu” (communal labor), the community members tackled sanitation issues head-on, demonstrating a shared commitment to improving their surroundings.
Hon. Acquah emphasized the vital link between cleanliness and well-being, stating, “Sanitation isn’t just about tidiness; it’s the foundation of good health and a catalyst for development in our community.
” He urged everyone to continue taking these efforts seriously, recognizing that a cleaner Akobima means a healthier and more prosperous future for all.
The assembly member for the area, Nana Sekyi, has commended MCE Hon. Eric Stanley Acquah, also known as Mfantseman KK, for his efforts in reaching the community and leading a cleanup exercise .
He described it as an unprecedented cleanup in the community and urged the MCE to continue such initiatives.
Additionally, Nana Sekyi appealed for the construction of their roads, noting that promises had been made eight years prior by individuals who did not return back to them again .
