Mpohor Residents Protest Against Rampant Power Outages.

Residents of Mpohor in the Mpohor Fiase District of the Western Region of Ghana have protested against the rampant power outages in their area, stating that it is affecting the local economy.
Rampant power outages _dumsor_ are crippling Mpohor and its surrounding communities
Shops, salons, and cold stores are losing revenue as perishable goods spoil.
Welders and barbers can’t work, while clinics are struggling to store vaccines and run oxygen machines.
Some residents of Mpohor, expressing their frustration to our western Regional Correspondent Nana Fynn said: “At home, fridges go off and food spoils. Dark streets are driving a rise in theft.
Students can’t study at night, and schools can’t run ICT labs. Families now spend more on fuel, candles, and replacing damaged appliances.”
They lamented that the recent power outages in the community are gradually giving the NDC government a bad name, and if urgent action isn’t taken, the party will lose its parliamentary seat.
